I caught the el bus-o this morning!
I really need to start waking up earlier. 6:30 isnt cutting it - I barley have time to shower and feed the pups. then I drive like a mad woman to Lake Fork. Not too smart Sara. I love our new house. When I came home last night Eric had dinner waiting for me. It was really nice not to worry about that for once. Although I do make more substainal meals than him. I was really hungry this morning! Its all I could think about on the ride to work.
The resort has started to make snow for the upcomming season. I have been praying for snow latley... I want an awesome riding season! mainly I want to work on my tree riding skills. and back country. Those 2 things will push me over the limit! The fake snow makes the base look like a winter wonder land. I love it, I cannot wait until the real deal is here
We have offically moved! oh its sweet to be out of that little dark hole. And the best part is that we get our deposit returned to us! NEVER in my renting life have I been so tidy to get my deposit returned! I suppose that comes with growing up.
So on Monday we had the big blow out and that was a ton of fun, we had all of our games and the only one I dominated was the Pinata. The others I wasn't fast enough :/ there is always next year! I can train up to qualify for the apple bobbin' team. the donut eating contest was pretty amusing since the entire string of powdered donuts fell on all of the conestents. the contest still went on however!
Yesterday I had my review from my boss, and with that I recieved a raise! WOOT! a whole .49 cents! oh the ski industry is sweet. My boss basicly told me he loved my work and that I do a fabulous job with the guests. it makes me feel awesome to have such an open boss, he makes me want to show up and to treat the stupid people like they matter.
OH OH and the biggest news of the week is:
Built to Spill is playing Boise! and I am going! AHHHH shucks! I have been a Built to Spill fan for 5 years and just recently found out they orginated in Boise, Idaho. They are very elusive with their home town shows - so when our roomie said he had balcony tickets I was OH so eagar to say yes! so we will go and see them on Saturday and then drive back on Sunday for work later that day! if you havnt heard of Built to SPill please do. check them out- you wont regret it! and since when have i given out 'bunk' advice?!
