So my garden needs to ripen or die! in the morning the tempature is down to the low 30's somedays. One of these days I will live in a real growing season. not this almost artic conditions. It all builds character. and I need more of that.
Last night - Thursday was the typicall music at Common Grounds (coffee shop) and I usually go since Eric does all the sound for it. Instead I stayed home and rode the new bike trail West of the neighborhood. and let me tell you what! it is sooooo smooth. And the dogs like it because of the speed we all get. So we rode over to the Payette River and watched geese formations, listened to cranes and cows. Roland and River tore about the area as if they have not seen an open field in decades. Tay stayed with me. I went after the sun was down - so my pictures are fuzzy and low detailed. Plus if I ever want a picture of a Sandhill crane I need to go without River, or Roland.
on my way out of the river drainage I noticed huge piles of aged bolvine manure. I wondered how it became one pile. Did the cows vote and decided to realive them selves here and only here? mind boggling. Then I remembered that the river bed is flooded into a resivor every year - and the manure being light and pourous possibly floated and anchored on the high ground when "high tide" was in.
This paragraph needs an image - so tonight I will troop over there again. Earlier this time!
The valley has still retained a lot of smoke recently. This morning looked promising for rain - but I have yet to see any moisture. The forcast gives us a 10% chance of precip for the remainder of today.
My neighbor just called to remind me he is on his way home - Alaska- which has the lamest state song I have ever read. Maybe the harmonics of the song really save it - but the entirety of the song's lyrics is based on the flag. How much can one person talk about a flag?

Wyoming is clearly more superior:

Okay the real point of this story is that I am watching my neighbors dogs for 10 days. He is visiting home, and promissed me baked goods his very own mother made. That and the vacummed sealed salmon I have already recieved. yum.
With all that talk of state song - what is Idaho's? well non the less then "Here We Have Idaho"! An honorable song for a MAGESTIC state. haha! for more information about the 50 States songs, bids, and trees please visit www.50states.com It has all the triva about your beloved state you would ever need to know.
I should really do some honest work now.

Oh, Saric, you crack me up. I bet someone could grow orchids from seed here, what do you think? Or is it too hot? I know nothing about orchids! Glad you and the three dogs had a nice evening!
